Experience
I am a tutor with over seven years of teaching experience. I'm most passionate about tutoring business and economics, but I'm also available to help students with their social studies, American History, and World History. I graduated from Texas A&M University where I received my degree in Business Management. After completing my undergraduate studies I worked in the business sector for a while, but I ultimately decided to pursue teaching because it's what I love to do. I'm now a high school teacher, and I have taught students in the ninth grade through the twelfth grade in several subjects including social studies and AP microeconomics. While my years of being a teacher have prepared me to be a successful tutor, I've also learned a great deal about teaching from raising three kids. My kids have taught me that every child has their own learning style, and that patience is an important element of both teaching and learning. When I'm not teaching or tutoring I enjoy reading fiction books, playing sports (ultimate Frisbee and basketball are my favorites), lounging in hammocks, catching up on my Netflix shows, and being with my family.
