First and foremost, I am a teacher that always finds a way to connect to each individual's way of thinking, always striving to find the words of explanation that make a concept click for them. In my full-time employment at the university, I use statistics to strategically communicate priorities to administrative leadership, so I have first-hand experience about explaining clearly and succinctly so that the concepts are easily understood. I have experience as a statistics lecturer at Ohio State, and also as a working statistician in the media industry, health industry, and university setting. I love helping people "see the light" so that statistics is understandable and not intimidating. I consistently receive positive feedback on my ability to teach statistics. I am a statistical tutor and consultant to Executive MBA and PhD candidates with a successful track record of bridging the gap to a better grasp of statistical theory and how it is applied, walking clients through the necessary steps to complete their projects through their own understanding.
