I have a BBS in Elementary Education from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas with specializations in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Experience

I currently teach 1st-4th grade Special Education Inclusion and Resource. My Resource classes are Math or Reading small group sessions of 3-5 students. I also have classroom experience with 1st and 6th grade in the public school system and a 2nd and 3rd grade class in a Christian school. I have experience with Extended School Year (ESY) for special needs students, specifically with autistic students (most non-verbal). I have experience tutoring students outside of school. I have worked with students in 2nd and 3rd grade and a nonverbal autistic student.
