Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and International Relations from Cornell College. I did great work in both areas and was admitted into an honor society called Phi Beta Kappa. I enjoyed my time as an undergraduate student and am excited to work with students here in Dallas, Texas before I attend Oxford to attain my master's degree. While I was in college, I was a tutor in the Politics and Classics departments, and I also mentored an International Politics class. Additionally, I was a peer consultant at Cornell College at the Writing Studio for two years. Here, I helped students write personal, academic, and professional materials. I like tutoring students in a wide variety of subjects, but I really enjoy tutoring students who are set to take the GRE or the SAT. I understand the importance of these admissions tests since I know they open up different opportunities for students, both for college admissions and scholarship potential. I also enjoy Latin since it's a language I have been studying most of my life. I love to share this subject with students whenever possible. Academics has become a really big part of everything I do. In my spare time, I enjoy taking photos, reading fantasy and fiction novels, and kayaking.
