Education

Graduated University of Texas at Dallas B.S. Psychology. 3.6 overall GPA.

Experience

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas. I graduated with a 3.6 GPA and a B.S. in Psychology. I've been professionally tutoring since March with a couple of different companies that have helped me relearn the subject material and how to teach it to others. However, I have tutored my little sister for 7-8 years in math and science and I have helped her go from struggling to understand the concepts covered in class to acing her tests. In fact, my family were the ones who suggested I become a tutor. They have watched me, even as a young kid in class, finish my homework and help my friends. Getting others caught up with their academics has always given me great joy, and I am a firm believer that learning should be fun! This year I am applying to PhD programs for Clinical Psychology, so my availability should not be an issue. My rate is negotiable due to my professional inexperience, but I more than make up for it with my dedication to providing you and your student with the best service possible. Some of my interests include playing guitar, working out, sports, and reading; should your child share some of my hobbies this makes building rapport much easier. Graduated from UTD with a B.S. in Psychology. GPA of 3.6, ACT composite score of 35, 158 verbal 161 quantitative on the GRE. Please feel free to contact me, my schedule is flexible and I'm very responsive.

Hobbies

Hi my name is Michael Conley, I am currently a senior psychology major at the University of Texas at Dallas. I plan on pursuing my doctorate in clinical psychology as soon as the fall of 2018. I enjoy playing sports (basketball is my favorite) and have used trigonometry on occasion to calculate the preferred arc for my basketball shot. I have a 15 year old sister that I love dearly, and I have helped her with her math and science homework since elementary school. I am incredibly patient with kids, especially those with learning differences as both my brother and sister have experienced these difficulties.
